What the distributed site currently includes
The local brew and caffeine tools work without logins or browser-storage cookies. This edition does not include Google Analytics, Ahrefs Analytics or active AdSense advertising scripts. Your hosting, firewall or CDN may use necessary security/session technologies; the operator must confirm their real configuration and document it accurately.
Optional analytics and advertising
Optional tracking or advertising technologies must not simply be reinserted from an older template. Before they are enabled, the site operator needs to identify providers, purposes, legal bases, retention, geographic requirements and a consent-and-withdrawal mechanism as applicable.
European advertising consent
For AdSense ads served to visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google's publisher requirements call for a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework, where applicable. A homemade “Accept” button without the necessary integration is not a substitute. See Google's CMP requirements.
Changing preferences
There is no functional cookie-preferences button in this edition because optional tracking is not activated in the distributed HTML. If a CMP and optional tags are added, the operator must provide a visible way to reopen it, update this page and test withdrawal of consent.
